It's Cute How Stupid You Are

For the most part I have been able to rid my life of those toxic, two-faced, back-stabbing people who like to masquerade as friends. With most, I was lucky enough to find out within a few short months just how fake and ridiculous they were. Unfortunately, recent events with one of these people is really annoying me, not to mention other people have been brought in who have no fucking clue what actually happened. However, these people are just as crazy as the one of which I speak, so I guess thank goodness the crazy people have one another and are not potentially infecting those of us who are sane.

On a much better note: I went home to Illinois with Drake this weekend and it was a blast. I'd already met the majority of his family when they came out her at the end of July but this was cool because I got to see where he grew up and he showed me around Hamilton and Keokuk like I got to show him around Rosemount, etc. It was cool to also see him with his buddies, the ones who are most important to him and the ones who he has really known the longest. We hung out with his best friend Jesse, and Jesse's girlfriend Shanna, who is awesome. They are coming out here for the Oklahoma game so it should be a lot of fun. Of course his mom and dad were just as awesome as before, and we went to his little brother Dane's football games on Saturday. I really liked Hamilton, despite the fact that it is much smaller than what I am used to. Like Lincoln though, we ended up hanging out at Wal-Mart, and Jesse and Drake were addicted to the claw machines and trying to win stuffed animals for Shanna and I...Drake eventually won four of them while we were there, plus when we got back to Lincoln last night I had forgotten something so we ran to Wal-Mart again, and he won me another one. They are pretty cute for being from a machine at Wal-Mart.

My good friend Kim who I haven't seen in ages is coming this weekend. She is taking pictures on Thursday and Friday for her friend's wedding in Norfolk and will be in Lincoln on Saturday. I am stoked, it has been way too long.
